BETTER THAN SEX CAKE

1 BOX YELLOW CAKE MIX

1 (20 OZ. CAN) CRUSHED PINEAPPLE

1 PKG. VANILLA INSTANT PUDDING

3 CUPS MILK (FOR PUDDING)

1 CONTAINER WHIP CREAM

1 CUP WHITE SUGAR

1 CUP TOASTED COCONUT

1/2 CUP CHOPPED PECANS

 

DIRECTIONS:

1. IN A 9X13 PAN BAKE CAKE ACCORDING TO BOX DIRECTIONS

2. WHILE CAKE IS BAKING COMBINE PINEAPPLE INCLUDING THE JUICE AND 1 CUP SUGAR. COOK OVER MEDIUM HEAT UNTIL SYRUPY. TAKE A STRAW AND POKE HOLES UNIFORMLY THROUGHOUT ENTIRE CAKE. POUR PINEAPPLE MIXTURE OVER THE CAKE, SPREAD OUT THE PINEAPPLE THAT DIDN'T GET INTO THE STRAW HOLES EVENLY. LET THE CAKE NOW COOL COMPLETELY.

3. MAKE YOUR VANILLA PUDDING WITH THE 3 CUPS MILK. SPREAD THIS OVER CAKE, LIKE YOU WOULD ICING, AGAIN EVENLY.

4.ADD YOUR CONTAINER OF WHIP CREAM TO THE TOP, JUST LIKE YOU DID THE PUDDING.

5. CHILL FOR 24 HRS. BEFORE SERVING ADD YOUR TOASTED COCONUT AND PECANS.

I DON'T PREFER IT BUT YOU CAN ALSO ADD SLICES OF BANANAS BETWEEN THE PUDDING AND WHIPPED CREAM LAYER. VERY TASTY DESSERT!!
