1 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup light brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2 1/4 cups flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
2 cups chocolate chips
1 cup nuts, chopped (optional)
1 cup brickle bits (optional)


Cream together the butter and both sugars, add the eggs and vanilla, and beat until smooth. Add the flour, soda, and salt, mixing until well incorporated. Stir in the chocolate chips, brickle, and nuts. Put into a greased 9"x 13" pan.


Bake at 375 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until light brown on the top. Cool completely before cutting.
